A boy with a dream....

Edward J. Davis Sr. | Birdseye Mountain Art

Born in 1963, Edward J. Davis Sr. is the founder of Birdseye Mountain Art — a

fine-art collection rooted in Vermont heritage, family legacy, and the enduring spirit

of Birdseye Mountain. At nine years old, while riding home from a weekend of

snowmobile hill climbs at Birdseye Mountain, Edward told his father, “Someday I’m

going to buy this mountain.” His father laughed at the bold declaration — but years

later, he lived to see that childhood promise fulfilled. For decades, Edward hunted,

skied, snowmobiled, hiked, maintained trails, and sketched the changing light

across the mountain he loved. Today, as both artist and steward, he creates

museum-grade archival giclée prints using pigment-based inks on thick,

museum-quality matte paper — preserving the ski history, wildlife, landscapes, and

generational stories of Birdseye Mountain. Birdseye Mountain is not simply the

subject of his art. It is a promise kept.
